It hadn't bothered me until now but now moat of my closest friends all have boyfriends and even though they say they won't leave me out I just feel kind of out of place when they're with their boyfriends. Also I've kissed people but never snogged or kissed much and they're all talking about it and I don't really know what to say. Today we all went out to the park and when my only single friend who was there left they were all in couples hugging and everything and I didn't know what to do. I want to know really how to find people to date and how to become more confident around guys. And be able to kind of fit in more with my friends as they're all dating now and in some ways have changed. Reply to this Question

Maybe find a group of guy friends and if there is one that you fancy then let it lead on from there. You are so young but i know how it feels, you just want what a lot of people around you have - but dont worry it will come when you least expect it. I miss the days of being single, at 14 you should be having fun not being tied down with a boyfriend which if you're not ready can be emotionally draining! Too be honest i'm sure at least a few of your friends who have boyfriends are not happy and wish they didn't. I was jealous and wished i had one then i did and i regretted ever wanting one! i wasn't ready. Relationships are hard...
Confidence comes from within, if you feel confident it will radiate. Maybe wear an outfit that you feel really good in or wear your hair in a way that you feel comfortable with. Little things that make you feel happy will shine through to other people. Try and socialise with more guys,talk to them more this is the most effective way to feel more comfortable and confident. It worked for me!!
