writes:theres a boy i like, for four years i've liked him and he knows.. he's really close with my brother cause they're friends, and my mom knows him.. he's cool with everyone. well, he's three years older than me and my mom said its fine if i date him.. im young, and i'm not sure he would be interested rather than flattered... i really like him though, any way i can get him to like me, or just get him to be comfortable going out with me? we do talk, sometimes, but i really really want to be with him... i die inside every time i see him.. all it takes for me to run to the phone and call my mom all excited is for him to say hi to me.. i really like him a lot... please give me advice, i really wanna be with him!! reader, anonymous, writes (10 January 2011): i have a very similar problem. i like this guy who is my brothers friend who is 4 years older then me. i feel the same way as you do like i die inside every time i see him and if he just talks to me i feel like im the only girl who exists. just talk to him about your feelings. to make it less awkward, you could talk to him over facebook or something instead of face to face.

There are no easy ways to get a guy to like you hun, try talking to him more, find out what intrests he has and strike up conversations, try at being friends first, and keep a lookout for any signs he may give away that he likes you back, if he looks at you, keeps eye contact. If he makes a point of seeking you out for a chat. Or u could try talking to your brother, if you can trust him not to say anything to the guy unless you want him to. Try to avoid it seeming just a "crush" to him. Build a connection.
