My galaxy ended up braking so I had to had to get a new iphone and get my contacts transferred to it. so she ended up liking one of my picks and then a week later she texted me Hey! asking if I was going to this event and I sent her a text back saying thinking about wbu and she responded but then It went to imessage and texted her twice in an hour and she didn't respond. does she think im weird cause I have her number on a new phone.

 She wrote to you first, therefore she kept your number also. Even though you got a new phone, it doesn't mean she will think you are weird because you transferred her number. Lots of people have old contacts on their phone.

Though I don't see the point in keeping someone's number you have no interest in getting to know better, there is nothing wrong in keeping a girl's number (unless she told you to forget it).
