I took some risque pictures on a family camera. Have since deleted them but I'm worried they could still be somewhere?

i took risque pictures of myself in the nude, using my own memory card in my mom's camera. i put the memory card in my own computer, deleted the pictures from the card, and made sure there was no saving onto the camera i borrowed.

is there a chance that my pictures could be recovered from either camera or the memory card??

if so, how do i prevent it?

This is verified as being by the original poster of the question

the question is misleading...

the pictures aren't on the camera itself,

they were on my memory card when i took them.

brooke5426 agony auntno i dont think it is likely that they could be restored. sounds like you did a pretty thorough job of deleting them and making sure they were gone for good. its just your conscience and fear of your mum finding them thats making you paranoid (cos lets face it that would be a pretty horrific experience for you!!) but im almost certain she wont.

maybe you should buy your own camera if you plan to take any more pictures like that though? just to be safe x
