writes:my boyfriend and i have been together 3 year. i am american and he is haitian. recently, he went to haiti. when he got there he gave me a number to call him. We communicated back and forth for a few days. On one day near to his return i call the number he gave me. a woman answered cursing me out in creole, which i don't understand. she then said in english that my boyfriend was her husband and that the phone i was calling him on was hers and for me not to call back anymore. I have spoken to him anout this since his return but i don't believe his story since he goes to haiti every year and has a son there. My question is how can i find out if my boyfriend has a wife in haiti and what should i do if i don't believe his story. Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (5 September 2007): Let me ask you this: Why would this woman in Haiti lie to you? If she was his sister or his cousin, or mother, what reason would she have to tell you he was her husband?
It may well be that he has pulled this particular trick on her before, and she wasn't surprised - even though she was clearly very angry. And he has a son there. Perhaps the woman you spoke to is his son's mother.
I think you'd be well advised to dump this man without further ado. It sounds very suspicious.

 there are many options. you can talk to him, you can go on the jeremy kyle show and get a lie detector test done or you could go on the show Cheaters to find out whats going on. if you dont fancy going public on national television then hire a privert eye. hope you'll be ok. Faith.
