Hey, i started my period in november and it is now march. i havent had it since that one. i dont know whats wrong with me either. i havent gained over 5 pounds since then and kept them.. i havent had sickness or anything crazy to point in the direction of pregnancy and my breasts havent grown at all. i was craving certain foods for a short period of time but i am really confused. if anyone has anything to say to this... let me know.

If the period in August was your first one, then it's probably nothing to worry about, as period's are usually irregualr for the first two years or so. The period might have also be a sort of 'tester' for your body. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, but I'd talk to somebody if I was you.

Good luck!

Hiya, i just wanted to say that you may have something called polycystic ovarian syndrome. Its nothing to worry about and is actually quite common in women. Every female has some male hormones in their body, just some of us have more than others. This then results in very irregular periods, sometimes can make you overweight or struggle to lose weight, you can have bad acne etc etc! it has so many symptoms. The best thing for you to do is go to the doctors, if you have any slight signs you will have to have a ultra scan! There is no cure, but he/she may suggest putting you on 'the pill' to make your hormones a bit more stable.

Its nothing to worry about, im 17 and have it and so does my mum. I have friends who have it to!

Go to tha docs...just put ur mind at rest! xxxx

I'm 20 and I started my periods at 13,I'm still probably not regular only have been since I went on the pill a few years ago.

If you are worried maybe speak with your mum or a close family member and see your gp but I seriously imagine its just your body being a bugger ( they usually are!)

good luck, dont stress!

Don't worry about it honest :]

When I first started mine I didn't get a second until 6 months later and even now, 4 years on, they are still weird (4 - 6 weeks between each one)

This is nothing to worry about hun, my period was completely irregular at first but in time it will work itslef out. I felt the same but it is nothing to worry about. Just be calm about it. Don't worry, it happens to other people too (me for one). :)

It's probably nothing to worry about because as the others stated, you're still very young! But you should probably see a doctor or someone just to be safe and to give yourself peace of mind that there aren't any other underlying reasons.

Dawnie agony auntHi, i wouldn't worry to be honest. Your very young and it can take some time for your menstrual cycle to sort itself out. Some girls find they are regular when they first start, others are not. Some start early, 12-13 years of age, others are closer to 16 or more. You can always visit your doctor if your want extra reassurance, but i am sure he will say exactly the same. In the meantime make sure you carry sanitaryware with you just in case it happens at a time that is not so convenient.

IHateCucumber agony auntReally DONT WORRY!!

I know many people may say this but I wish I had listened when I frist had my period beacuse I was so stressed about not coming on since i origially started - I had nothing to worry about and neither do you!

Periods when you first start are very uneven and months between periods are very common in younger women

PLEASE DONT STRESS
