writes:For the guys out there; Recently me and the guy I'm dating had sex and he knew I just got off my period (literally the last day of my period, going to his place I was off my period) and its been a little while so we took the opportunity and went for it. He started going down on me and we started to have sex. When we were all finish he went to use the bathroom to realize we kinda started my period again. And I felt a bit embarrassed especially because he went down on me and he said that it was fine and acted like nothing was wrong. But in your honest opinion how would you feel in that situation? Or how do you feel about period sex in general? I know everyone is different, but just some honest feedback on this type of thing would be great. Just so I know.

Anyway, from a guy's point of view, provided I knew and loved the girl, then definitely not a problem at all. In fact, if a girl is that at ease and confident with herself to allow it, I actually find it a turn-on!
Even performing oral is no problem. However, I restrict my oral attention to the clitoris area.

 I would just go with what your boyfriend told you. Most men are pretty laid back with things that happen during sex (that I've found anyway)...they're just happy to be having sex. If you don't want to risk having some blood flow, just be sure you've completely stopped bleeding before you have sex. It probably wasn't a huge amount anyway if you were near the end of your period.

My bf expresses a little disgust, but jokingly. I don't think your bf would lie about not caring about something like that.

 depends on the guy i guess..my ex was fine with period sex but my husband is not a huge fan..he will do it if i want to do it but if i don't want to do anything he stays pretty far away
i find period sex kinda hurts and it's messy during the heaviest flow days.
just before i get my period i don't want to be touched with a ten foot pole..i'm sore all over and bloating and cramps are not fun
during the end of my period I don't mind having sex..it's barely messy
as for going down on someone during there period that is a thing for some people and totally disgusting for others
The way you described your situation chances are intercourse brought on more bleeding so when he was going down on you chances are you didn't actually have any blood leaking he would have tasted it if it was and if he said he didn't mind then i would just take his word for it and not worry about it

they have run the gammut from men who would go down on me during my period (something I DON'T like) to men that would freak out if my flow started during straight intercourse..
IF your guy said NBD... then it's NBD for him..
