writes:My boyfriend and I have been dating since just after christmas and I'm completely crazy about him. My family moved recently though and we're not that far apart but it's still two hours and he's my only social life. I'm really busy with my own school and all but the past few weeks he's so busy with his own exams and work and all that we went from talking all the time every day to going sometimes days without even hearing from him. I want to be understanding b/c he's stressed but does he mean it when he says he loves me if he doesn't make time to even txt me after a few days?

 Men are not like us. They don't really communicate unless they've got something in particular to say. We females can write little messages or talk all the time about tittle tattle, but men can't. It's the way they are. So stop worrying. Try to build yourself a social life where you live now. This will make you become a more interesting person and give you something to say to your boyfriend when you see each other.

 My boyfriend is on the road for between 6 and 8 months of the year. During the time he is away, I am lucky if I get to speak to him every 3-4 days because he is so busy.
They dont mean to ignore us or anything, but they are so busy and dont have time to even make that quick phonecall or text message.
If you says that he loves you, I am sure he means it. But if he is doing exams at the moment, you have to understand that he is trying to make a life for himself by doing well in his exams and doesnt want any distractions.
If once he is done with his exams, he then still doesnt contact you every second day at least, then think about it again. At the moment is just trying to do his best at school and make a life for him and any future family he may have.
