I love him but he's being distant!

hi, i'm in a relation with a sweet man he's 27 years old i'm 24 years. any how we've knowing each other almost 6 month ,i feel safe and secure with him all the time except that the last period of time or lets say the last 2 weeks he's been changed. he's not the one i know, he stopped ringing to my phone stopped messaging just talking as if he's talking to any girl. to be honest all the time he say's i love u ,i miss you and that's great but i stopped feeling the magic of these words from him. i don't know what's up with him any how ,i decided to say nothing in these two weeks untill he says what's wrong with him then i decided to confront him. i told that u've been changed there is something wrong, he said that there is nothing and we have to work on it each other to find what's wrong with us then, he says oh we are not compatible in our opinions and then say i'm changed coz i can't see u all the time. actually it's very difficult to see each other all the time coz he's in lives far away from me and we see each other every 2 or 3 weeks, beside he went to military but he talks to me every day any how ,,all his reasons have something of contrast how come he hurts me by being changed just bec. i' not with him all the time ,,still something missing ,then i told him why u don't talk let's have discussion he said that there is nothing woth to talk about so i decided to leave each other for a while to make him think and whenever he's ready to tell he can call ,,and that happened actually after 2 days since i decided to give him space. he then said i can't live with out you any more. then i asked him is that what u wanna say aren't u going to tell what's wrong? he said with what there is nothing at all so i told him that i'm still uncomfortable and u must take another time and tell me what's going on. he said ok without hesitating as the first time ,,i'm really going crazy some one say what's going on...beside there is something i'm suspecting, but i don't wanna confront my self is that he was thinking to break up with me, that's why he was changed. may be he chose to be a jerk so that i tell him let's split. i don't know coz when he called and said that he can't be away from me means that he was trying and decided to let it go but he couldn't. what do think people am i right in my suspection or no ,,, should i call him and end everything coz i'm really hurt and tell him that he's using the wrong way to leave me and make me hate him or should i wait?
