writes:Okay so me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years, We had got together when i was 16, and have been together ever sense. He is 8 years older then me and has an ex wife and a daughter. Me and his daughter get along great she looks as me as a mother figure in her life which is great. However his ex wife tries to get back with him every holiday possible, she always says she is sleeping with him ext. This is causing a big problem in our relationship he has told me numerous amounts of time if he wanted her back he would have left me after the 2 months we had got back together. I know he is not cheating on me in my heart, but when she starts this drama and says all this stuff it scares me. How can i get this nonsense out of my head before its to late. I dont want to lose the 2 people that mean the most to me all because of some lies she is saying this week, Please help.Sincerly,Desperate girlfriend

reader, anonymous, writes (15 April 2009): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionthats a good point, i do trust him with everything, the only problem is i get her on his visitations so i do have to see her all the time. i guess im just goingto have to kick it up and realize she is the ex for a reason, as he tells me, thank you for your help im going to ignore all the lies, i just have to find away to let them go, instead of thinkingbout what she says

He lives in cleveland with his brothers while attending school. He is at my house thursday night til monday morning when he leaves for work. we are on the phone ever break he has. She has told me alot of times she only says it cause she wants him back. as you can tell she is bipolar. My problem is i let the things she says get to me even though im not true, this makes him think i doubt him. how do i let what she says go in one ear and out the other?
