You are over thinking things. There is no advice we can give you that will tell you how to get the guy.
I will say this: some people text more than others. Some people play hard to get. Some people are clingy.
Just be yourself, do what feels comfortable, and don't act insecure about your relationship with him. At this early stage you may scare him off.
Mistakes will happen but they'll be lessons learned. Good luck.
