Question - (5 February 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 5 February 2008)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Me and this guy know each other for 7 years

now. we are great friends and we always call each other if we need to talk about something. We know everything about each other but when we are around each other we are always flirting and picking at each other. He flirts with me a lot.. but I really like him and told him that I liked him he told me to tell him everything I feel about him too, told him it was ponitless but he told me it wasn't, it might change things. Well I told him... but it never did anything.

It's been like a month... we are still really close though nothing's changed, he still calls me when he needs to talk and flirts with me... What should I do???

I hope you can help :)

AskEve agony auntYou have told him you like him, it may be he's a bit shy. You could try moving closer to him when you sit, taking his hand etc and see if that helps. It may be he just wanted to hear you say nice things about him in order to give his ego a boost or it might be that he's happy to remain just friends. The only real way to know for sure is to ask him if he wants to take your relationship to the next level.
