writes:Things have been good for me and my best friend Rob. The other day after school I wrote him a have a nice day note and he was trying to figure out who wrote it all day. So I texted him that I knew who wrote it and he begged me to tell him. I told him that it was me and he said it was a nice note. The only thing that bothers me is that he sometimes shows me his cool phone and brags about that hes allowed on facebook. I know hes trying to impress me but it makes me a little mad? He also brags about going to Red Sox games and he knows I havn't gone. He texted me last night about random things and he wanted me to know he went to the game. He texted me guess where I was! i hate bragging! I really like him and I know he trys to impress me because he likes me but I don't like it. Hes been texting me more lately since I don't see him o talk to him from being busy.

reader, anonymous, writes (27 September 2009): It has been my experience that those who brag just don't stop. I feel if you tell him, he isn't going to change. He may not even know he does it. This is not a friend who makes you feel good about yourself. Exit and find another more sensitive one.
