A female United Kingdom, anonymous writes:

Ive had the worst week of my life this week. Firstly, im a single mum to a 5 month old boy. Im finding it very hard to bring him up at the moment. His dad is around and sees him as often as he can but im still finding it very hard. Then I had a huge row with my whole family which ended in my sister hitting me in the street. Nasty things were said from both of us and i know things will never be the same between us again. My mum and dad got involved and have fallen out with me too. Then I find out my ex (not the father of my son), who I have been in love with for 7 years has got a new girlfriend, he has deleted me off facebook. Im heartbroken. And with all these things happening at once I just wanna cry. If it wasnt for my son I would probably move away. I just feel trapped and upset Im really down.

Sometimes its hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel but you need something to take your mind off these things. Such as taking your boy swimming or to the park more often How about a mother and child centre where you can meet mothers and make new friends? then maybe when you have given yourself a lift you can work on re-gaining the relationship between your sister and parents, sometimes all it takes is a simple apology as they may feel bad themselves. its easy to feel trapped, lonely and isolated but if you keep your head up and get out and about you will feel a whole lot better! exercise is great too it definately takes your mind of your stresses! i hope this helps i can imagine how tough it is but you will get through it!
