writes:I have a major gay crush on a guy at school. We're in a few of the same classes together and don't really talk to each other. I think he may be gay, but i'm not sure, and no one knows that i'm gay either. I always thought he was cute, but a week ago, he gave me a look that was really "attractive" and ever since then i have thought to myself "maybe he is after me". I noticed he has been talking to one of my friends more than usual when i am not around, but i know he is not interested in her. I know this sounds silly, but i was thinking maybe he is using her to get to me (i know, really far-fetched). but, i really want to talk to him and get to know him, and go out with him (if he's gay). what should i do!?! i'm the shy type, so i can't just go up to him. please help me! -SOS

reader, anonymous, writes (9 February 2007): Try to give him a few hints that you are interested in him. That way you'll be able to know whether he feels the same way or not. He might be gay but hiding it by talking to your friend more so that people think that he is not gay. Hope it works out the way you want it to work out.
