A female , anonymous writes:

I haven't been going out with my boyfriend very long but we were friends for almost a year before we started dating. I'm 19 and he's 27, he's had one partner before me. I know he's ready for sex and I think I am too. I want to have sex with him but I'm a bit nervous, I have a pretty low pain tolerence so I'm worried about how much it will hurt.

Is there any way I can prepare myself or make it less painful? Thanks so much.

Usually the first time is a bit uncomfortable (rather than painful) but the more you worry about it to more you will feel tense and the more it will be uncomfortable. You ned to let your body relax and your muscles relax. when the time comes just tell your boyfriend to take it slowly at first and ease it in, if it feels painful ask him to take it out and try again slowly. Alternatively similar to what Mush suggests, ask him to finger you first this will probably then make the intercourse more comfortable as your body will relax. x

bonym agony auntSex is less painful if you are not tensed up and agitated. If you are relaxed and comfortable then the pain can be kept to a minimum. xXx
