This was definitely a bad idea. He should have known better and stopped you. You might be a legal adult here in the states but as a teacher, he definitely would lose his job. If he has any interest in you, he will wait until you are graduated. Dont expect too much though. A grown man, and a teacher no less, would have known better if he were more mature.
