Very few people are truly identified as 100% heterosexual or 100% homosexual. Most fall somewhere in between the two extremes. Many would never admit that.
Relationships develop when it feels good to be around another human being, and also remember - SEX IS FUN! If you are attracted to someone, and it feels good to be around them, then why not?
So even if you've liked mostly males, it is possible that you could have a very satisfying relationship with a woman, too.
Check out some work/studies by the psychologist Alfred Kinsey, especially the Kinsey Scale.

 yes i think you are straight. everyone has a crush on a member of the same sex at some point and anyone who says they havent is a liar. i had a crush on a girl when i was about 12 or 13, it wasnt just that i thought she was pretty i was really attracted to her. but im definitely straight and thats the only time (so far anyway) that i have been attracted to a girl.
dont worry about it, its probably your age and hormones that are playing a massive part in it and i dont think you are a lesbian.

 Yes don't worry i think you are straight, i think this is a phaze we all go through at some point in our lives, its perfectly normal. So you find her attractive, there is nothing wrong with that atal. Just because you find a member of the opposite sex attractive does not make you gay.

reader, anonymous, writes (30 September 2007): That's funny you say that because I was at a party once and I was introduced to these guys, one of which was gay. Anyway later that night my friend came up to me and told me that his "gay" friend told him that even though he has never been attracted to women he was mesmerized by my beauty and I was one of the prettiest girls he has ever seen. He couldn't believe he felt that way because he has never liked girls. So there you go. It happens. And he didn't become straight or anything. I don't really understand it myself.
He came up to me at one point and was like "girl you are so hot." Maybe he just was attracted to the beauty part of it rather than it being a sexual thing. But I do know for a fact that he was still gay as hell.
I guess sexuality is not all black and white. Maybe that is something you could explore and come back and tell us about it. I am curious about it now.
