I feel I am nobody to her... what should I do?

Question - (26 October 2008) 5 Answers - (Newest, 26 October 2008)
A male United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

2 weeks ago, I had a huge fight with my gf. She ended the relationship after few days.

A week passed, I started to feel better. However, she called me. We talked a while on phone. The next day, she called again. For the first time, she called me 3 times a day. It happened for 2 days straight.

For your information, she rarely calls me. I am the one who always does the calling and if she missed the call, she never calls back so as replying my text.

Since the fight, we have not met each other. Because of the recent contact with her, I asked if we can be together again. She agreed.

We have talked quite lot for few days. I think it is time to date again. I called her few times and text her. I see nothing from her. I decided to email her. Nothing in return.

I thought she must be busy but when I look at her profile, she's logged in 2 hours ago when I called and emailed her.

I am thinking, if she cares, she would call or text. Now, I get all the heartache and feeling miserable again. Feeling I am nobody to her. What should I do?

Thanks.

Hi. I am the one asking the question.

If she is wondering I am busy or not, she could text me. A text will take no longer than 5 minutes but she can't even do it. Thinking of this, really hurt me. It clearly shows who I am for her.

I really hope she will be the one. Like Jen86 said, maybe I should give her time. If it is still the same, then I will talk to her.

Thank you everyone for the advices.

Dear Poster

I am really sorry that you have to go through this emotional turmoil; what this girl is doing is not very nice, but maybe (let's give her the benefit of the doubt) she has a valid reason for not been in contact; I sincerely hope so for her sake; if not, vow, post her so far and so fast;

Maybe she changed her mind and does not have the courage to tell you; in which case again, I suggest you post her far and fast.

Which ever way; stop contacting her; if she does not make contact with you soon, consider her PAST TENSE;

You deserve somebody loving and caring; remember it is give and take; it sounds like you have been doing all the giving and this girl was "taking"; well STOP; STOP all of that right here and now; no mare; if she wants to be with you, vow, let her deserve your love and proof her love and sincerity.

Be strong and don't allow her to "play" with your feelings. She must show some respect and if this is the kind of person she is, maybe she is doing you a favour to get out of your life. At least you will be able to move on and find somebody worthy of your love.

Best wishes and always try to keep SMILING.

Send her a text saying "I guess you lied about wanting to be together again. That wasn't very nice. Have a nice life."

Then don't contact her again. Move on.

If she wants to be with you then let her do the chasing. But I think you shouldn't let yourself get set up to be hurt again.

Good Luck!! xx

I think that you should probably talk to her about how she makes you feel and how she hurts you.

I used to do the same thing to my boyfriend, like when he'd call, if I missed the call, I wouldn't call him back. But it wasn't because I didn't like him, it was because I wasn't sure if he was going to be busy and I didn't want to seem 'annoying.'

If she liked you so much to call you 3 times a day for 2 days straight and agreed to date you again, she must like you. So don't worry too much, but I DEFINITLY think that when you get ahold of her, you should ask her what's up with her not answering you.

Good luck!(:
