hi

ive been split from my boyfriend for 6 weeks,(after 2 yrs +) we have sort of kept in touch (the odd textmessage) he wanted to 'split up'rather than take a break but said he still cared alot for me, and wasnt certain is was the right decision, also his head was messed up over it.

in his text this week, he said was just thinking of you (as always) , do you think this is justvcos he was at a low moment or he still does think of me always?? the reasons for the split was he thought he loved me , but then decided he didnt, i do love him, but there is a lot of baggage with it ( is a widower, wife died 3 yrs ago , split just a month b4 anniverasry) am just kind of answering his questions , rather than giving emotional replies, as i dont want to push it with him , just want to give him tiime , but dont want to push him away completely ????

kellyO agony auntHi,

i agree with u. You have made a great decision to give him time. For me really, An example of a reply i could to his text would be something like" good to hear from you always , i do think of you as well". It is simple enough not too much feelings given away and yet not discouraging.

My advise would be try not to think too much into his reponses until he confirms his feelings for you. Take a break yourself and enjoy yourself with friends and family.

Goodluck dear.
