reader, anonymous, writes (11 April 2012): Be honest with him, you can't tell him without hurting him, but by not telling him and being honest with him you are hurting him more, and putting him through more agony than is required. It is not pleasant to tell someone your not interested in them, but it's even more unpleasant to be ignored by someone because they are too scared to be honest with you because it makes them uncomfortable.
