writes:I am a 17 year old, nice, charming, funny, not ugly guy who plays guitar and really tries to get a girlfriend, much less a date, but always fails. Why is this? I've tried to have a relationship with 6 different girls, but they all rejected me. sometimes outright, sometimes after they sort of liked me a little bit. is there something wrong with me? i get depressed a lot about it, i don't understand why i've never had any luck. any help would be much appreciated.

Enrique is verified as being by the original poster of the questioni usually just approach girls as friends, and if we have a connection, i usually take more interest in them gradually, and sometimes i tell them how i feel, other times i just will ask them to do something alone with me alone. When i'm trying to charm girls i usually just am nice to them and notice the little things about them. I usually wait for girls that i really feel like i have something with, but there was a couple times when the girl and i really had nothing between us.

 I think where you're going wrong is the 'really trying' part. Girls can tell when you're just being friendly, and when you're trying for something more.
How do you go about approaching girls? How do you treat them when you're trying to charm them? And do you actually wait for girls you really like, or just go for any girl who's kinda cute and smiles at you?
Some details would help us out.

 relax girls are attracted to men who are confident and not needy... your coming accross a little on the needy side here,Sorry if that is harsh. Men who we know are happy in their own skin and who dont have a heap of baggage (not saying you have baggage!)
Just have fun, be confident in yourself and the ladies will swarm all over you! Sometimes it may take a little bit of time
Your still young, give it time you will find a girlfriend soon
