Neway i like it wen lads talk to me equal and dont make me seem less than them because im a girl. Also i like not jus talking but touching. Try hugging her or putting your hand not too high up on her leg. Subtle but effective. When any of my boym8s hug me i get all happy and cant help but smiling it shows you dont have to be masculine all the time and it makes me feel close to the boy im hugging, even if jus as a friend.
Talk to her about anything. depends what she likes. If she likes sport talk about that, if u lyk da same music try that.Anything u have in common. Ask lots of not too personal questions about her. When boys do that to me i feel they want to know about me and my life. But make sure u listen to what shes saying she wont like it if u forget something important!

 Hi Sean,
I can understand your situation here; it's all about building your confidence.
What do you normally talk to your friends about? Something you both have a mutual interest in? Of course. Just do the same, find something she is interested in.
Girls like to be talked to friendly, even a simple question like "how are you?" will get the conversation flowing.
Remember not to rush into anything. Get into the habit of talking to girls and maybe have some just as friends. As they could give you more insight of what girls are like.
