A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Rite so my boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years, he has an iphone 4 and I was just having a nosey through it because he doesn't care if I look at it or not. However the past while, he has changed his password and hasn't told me it, but I seen him one day typing it in he usually deletes his messages. However as u can search on iphones I typed in a girls name who he said he has been txting (says they are just friends). And seen a few messages which were deleted. And one of them said ' do you want to just forget about us? Xxx' and 'yea I miss it too xxx'. I know he's been texting her and didn't mind because I beieved him when he said they were friends. I think he's cheating on me, do you think he is by reading this? He's changed the settin on his phone so that it comes up text message from the sender whereas it used to show what the person wrote? Help please :( xxxx

A female reader, anonymous, writes (14 August 2011):

Go with your instincts. I wish I had off. A womans instincts asre usually right. I kept telling myself it was all in my head, do not make the same mistake. There is obviously something going on. Good luck, I hope your wrong but then why would he change his password wtc, my ex did exactly the same, never minded me looking at his phone ever then he started taking it everywhere with him even if he was just going to the kitchen!! You know this is not his usually behaviour so as I said, go with your instincts!

Ronnie70 agony auntTrust your instincts. I'd say that what you imagine to be happening is actually happening and he's not being altogether truthful - but then, he *would* deny it wouldn't he?
