writes:I am 4 months pregnant and my boyfriend who thinks he is the dad and is in prison.My midwife worked out my due dates and the baby could have a different father, who is black called W.I slept with them both within a day of each other (as I was not with my bofriend at the time) and I used a condom with W (who is black) and nothing with my now-boyfriend.Is it best to tell my boyfriend now in a letter, or wait til the baby is born and tell him?

reader, anonymous, writes (29 January 2009): Well, it seems that your boyfriend won't be out of prison by the time you have the baby, will he? And since you have clear evidence about who the Daddy is (kid is either going to be white or mixed like me, which is a fantastic look if I do say so myself)... I wouldn't stress out the fella in prison. You used a condom, it's unlikely that W. is the father anyway. And, you won't need to be getting a DNA test or anything, you should be able to just look at Junior and tell who the Daddy is.

 If you used a condom with W I wouldnt worry about telling your boyfriend just dont do it again . And as long as the condom wasnt broke or leaking or anything you should be safe . if there is a chance of any of that happened you could 1 of 2 things go ahead and tell your b/f what happened and that you wont do it again or wait till the baby comes and see what happens .... But either way you have to be careful with sleeping with multiple partners not ony for the fact of getting pregnant but also the fact that you have your life to think about and this is 2009 anyone could have anything ..

 If you used a condom with W, the chance that it is his is so small, I wouldn't bother telling your now boyfriend. Unless the condom broke or slipped off.Some people would say go on and tell him. I can see that point. But, in my opinion, it would just cause unnecessary problems. Now, if you hadn't used a condom, I would say go one and tell them both.I would however tell W that there is a very very VERY small chance he could be the father. That was he isn't surprised should he get a phone call in a few months finding out he is a father.

If you used a condom then there can only be a small chance W. is the father.
But, I still think it is a good idea to tell your boyfriend so that it doesn't ruin your relationship with him in the future.
