Go to your local Planned Parenthood - they will be able to talk to you about all the different kinds of birth control and help you figure out what kind is best for you. It will be free for you and completely confidential!
Please continue being this smart with your choices!

You need to be aware that depending on the age of your boyfriend, he may be committing a crime by having sex with you and the law will not care if you agreed or not.
It is a big step, especially at your age. So please reconsider till the legal age of consent. Waiting will not hurt you and the additional time will help you to know better what you want.

hey hun, if you are ready and want to do it worry free, then i suggest getting the pill - its not expensive and easy to take. for extra precaution use a condom also, as this will prevent you from contracting STD'S as well as doubling your protection from getting pregnant. however, i would advise you to be 100% sure that you are ready and willing to do it, as you are still quite young, and sex does bring alot of new emotions to a relationship, and you may not be mature enough to deal with it, and be responsible. good luck

For birth control you have to see your doctor or a family planning clynic, where you can get advice on different methods.
Bear in mind, however, that no method of birth control is 100% safe and there is a small chance they won't work. So before you decide to have intercourse for fun, make sure you are mentally prepared for the possibility of an unwanted pregnancy.
Also, you need to be sure your boyfriend is safe and clear of any STDs. If he has inherited HIV he probably doesn't even know (I'm not saying he has! But you can't be too careful these days!)
That is why you should always insist he uses a condom or at least get checked out before you sleep together.
Remember that making love should be an expression of your feelings for each other, not just casual fun and it doesn't have to include intercourse! You can make love in so many other ways which don't cause pregnancy!
Always make sure both you and your bf are ready for sex and are mature enough to embark in a sexual relationship with all that it brings.
Good luck!

Planned Parenthood will give you free birth control pills. Otherwise consult your doctor, they really aren't that expensive and boy howdy are they worth every penny!
