reader, anonymous, writes (1 March 2009): I was just thinking the same thing, Eve! Listen hun, this guy is a person with a free will to date and be with whom he pleases. You don't get to decide anything about his life, in the first place. Maybe you and your friend can approach him and ask him,
"which one of us do you want to date, sweety?"
He may end up not choosing either of you and just going off to be a single, fancy free happy guy. Stop making promises to friends that she can 'have some guy you like'. He has his own life, please respect that. Sheesh!
