Hello all,

I'm writting about how the world lets law breakers break the law. I was hurt in a bad work accident were a law was changed on crane operations. I had 3000 lbs of pure hard concrete fall on me and ruined my life and made my life a living hell. I could not walk for over a year and still after 21 years still in pain were I take pain killers and sleeping pills. I was almost killed and I was hurt really bad. For over 21 years I've been treated like a faker and just don't want to return to work. After a accident that bad you know I'm not faking. Why do we let company's like workers compensation board hurt and mistreat the injured workers. All of the world keep there eyes shut and act like well it's not me so why would I worry about strangers. I can say my life changed in a moment from being normal to handycapped. This insurance company. WCB is a insurance for the employer not the worker. All they care about is saving money and get bonuses to make your life impossible to live with. My question is what would you do if you were hurt bad like me so bad that you need morphine just to get out of bed and Valium to sleep and other meds for other stuff. How would you do it to get this looked at through the news and heard to the people. I'm having trouble and would love any suggestions about how to wake up the world and get people to see how there being mistreated by a insurance company and there goverment. Please give me any suggestions or ideas to fight a company run by a place that's suppost to help hurt workers not abuse them. I'm looking forward to seeing if anyone can tell me how to take on a company protected by the goverment and treating and hurting some people worse then they needed. All suggestions would be appreciated. Peace and I hope this gets posted.

C. Grant agony auntPeople have been incredibly frustrated by the WCB for years. Google "WCB support groups" and you'll find some links that may be helpful. Since the WCB is a provincial organization, contacting your MLA would be appropriate.

So_Very_Confused agony auntHoney I have a standing scrip for Tramadol (synthetic morphine) Vicodan AND muscle relaxers so strong I can only take them if I'm in bed.... I feel your pain...

and I have no one to blame as mine is newly genetic...

I know the pain is very wearing and very depressing...

To be honest the insurance company is to protect the holder of the policy (your employer) so not much is going to fix that problem.

do you have a good lawyer? perhaps if you feel there was wrongdoing you could pursue legal recourse... but if you have talked to the lawyers and they blow you off then the problem is that you are angry with the wrong people....

it was an ACCIDENT...and fate sucks... at least you have an accident to be angry at... are you in therapy for pain management and anger?
