writes:ok so i'm best friends with this guy. we hang out everyday and ignore the rumors that spread. problem is, he's liked this girl for over 8 months and found out that she really doesn't like him. at all. he's crushed. i care about him allot and i hate, i mean really hate to see him upset, because he's like a rock. i don't know what to say to him or how to help him except for listening to him. what should i do or say to help him?

 You need to make him realise that if he doesn't need a girlfriend, (no matter how much he liked her) It's not the end of the world, there will be girls ten times as pretty as her and nicer, he just needs to go out and find them. Make sure he stays confident about himself, and encourage him to go out as much as possible. She obviously wasn't worth the bother if she isn't willing to give him a chance.
