writes:i have been with my bf for 2 years.6months back he cheated on me with this girl i would like to call "k".the minute i found out about them my bf told me he cant dump "k" because he loves her like he loves me,and the sad part is that he compared me to her telling me how she is always there and im not.he said she is better because she is the girl he has always wanted to have and im just another story.i dumped him and tried moving on but he came back to me.yes he has changed alot he has become this sweet guy who makes me very happy but there is one problem,i can't seem to forget "k",its crazy i know but i don't want to lose the best thing in my life,i love my bf alot he makes me happy.how do i forget this girl?how can i save my relationship?

 That's messed up on many levels. If he did that to you while you was with him before, he may do it again. Yeah, it might seemed like he's changed, but in all reality...does he even deserve you. You shouldn't tolerate that kind of disrespect towards you. It's your choice anyway.

 Usually I'd say give it a go and move on and maybe that just what you need to do but I am concerned at his extreme reaction to you finding out and the things he said after that. I don't think the girl is the issue here.

 Personally I wouldn't go anywhere near him again after he did and said that! Its only time that will get you over an event like this, you just have to make an effort to block her out of your head! Things that could help are 1)your boyfriend giving you lots of attention and loving words 2) everytime she comes into your head say positive things about your boyfriend and what you mean to him, these will reassure your mind and control your breathing, deep breaths from the stomach! Xx
