How did you fight the addiction to porn?

Question - (29 June 2012) 3 Answers - (Newest, 29 June 2012)
A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I have battled addiction to internet porn sites for about 12 years now. It was a while before I realized how much it has messed up my life. Get help. Do not make the same mistake I made, okay? I wasted a bunch of time on those sites, time I will never get back. I have really grown to hate this. And I did go on those sites because of the fantasy aspect. I have never been good with relationships and I believed it would fill a void. But looking back, that was stupid. And I find myself getting irritated, having fits of rage all of a sudden, and it's something I have to address. It's long overdue. And I have been depressed because of it also. Find someone to talk to about your problem. I feel better getting my issue out in the open. If any of you have had this problem, what did you do to fight it?

person12345 agony auntI was going to post that link that candycane already posted. It's the best website I've seen online for this issue. It's filled with non-judgmental non-religious articles from an ex-addict on how to quit. There are also other people on there going through the same thing who can help.

Candycane1234 agony auntyourbrainonporn.com copy and paste that link, but seriously get it sorted, if you get a woman they probably won't like you using porn in a relationship.
