 Invite him along to some outing with you and a couple of friends (both girls and boys, if possible). That will give you a chance to see him socially and reduce pressure on both of you.

reader, anonymous, writes (5 March 2006): Ask him out. There is nothing wrong with the girl asking the guy. He may not realize you are interested in dating and is afraid to ask you out. Just make sure you are ready to accept whatever answer he gives you. Too many couples waste time or don't even get together because they are both afraid to ask the other.

i've been through all that before. it probably means he really doesnt like you and might be lookin for something from you other than a relationship. make sure that when you make a decision, you dont regret it.
