A female United Kingdom age 51-59, anonymous writes:

I have a crush so big I stay awake wondering if this is my soulmate. Then one day I'm sure he is my true love, but the situation is so odd that most of friends have begun to pity me, or think I'm a little crazy. I'm open to the idea of dating someone else but no one I've ever met comes anywhere close. I have never loved anyone more, on a romantic and emotional level. I'm attracted to him in a very romantic way, including sexual, but not a lusty way.I feel like that would happen naturally but it's not the basis of my attraction. It seems like he is the perfect partner for me in every way.

And, I have always sensed that he returns my feelings. He acts like I do, as if he has a crush, that is wonderful but difficult to deal with. Why? Well bc we met when he interviewed me for my current job. he's my boss' boss. I see him at work but don't often work with him.The interview was ... Full of blushing and giggling and the feeling of having a spiritual moment. I know it sounds weird. For a long time I just figured it was a weird crush. It kept getting bigger and bigger. I thought he was single. After a YEAR, I learned he has a live in girlfriend, and later learned they have been together for 17 years. Unbelievable. I know from many things, that he adores me, and is attracted to me. I know better than to flirt ( maybe a tiny but once in a while, honestly, but I usual,y we can hardly talk and will blush and go blank). I'm not a man stealer. What can I do? Have I lost my mind? I would change jobs in a minute for this man. How can I be this in love.... the most intense love poetry ( not my taste in things!) does not come close to my passionate innocent love. What to do?

I the original asker... I know This sounds so lame! I know people fall in love with people they can't have. I'm aware of all that but I still know he feels the same way. We're not cheaters, we wouldn't cause drama at work... rationally it seems like there's no way unless they break up first without me doing anything to push that along.
