writes:hi i posted a question about a month ago, about my fella and the mother in law from hell showing a letter i wrote to him to everyone! well now shes become un belivable! i cant go on like this! my fellas coming home in a few weeks and we have agreed to move intogether! but shes picked him another girlfriend as she does not think im good enough! while hes been away this new girl has totally been in with his family! she likes him too! i just dont no what to do! i dont wana back out i love this guy i wanna marry him! but his mum is too much i no she hates me but i just cant win! and i dont wanna loose him but if i tell him now i think hell choose his family over me! plz help! reader, anonymous, writes (11 April 2007): I had the mother mother in law from hell, and my now ex husband would never stand up for me. He just never grew up and away from her apron strings. In my experience, if he has a mother that dislikes you, stear clear unless he is prepared to stand up to her. Most men DONT though, so be warned.

 First of all she is not your mother-in-law...yet. Secondly don't put his mother down in front of him. Just behave like you always have, that is what attracted him in the first place. If his mother tries to push the other girl on him he'll make his own decision. Guys love their mothers but most guys learn where to draw the line once they grow up. Good luck.
