 I'ts natural at your ages to have mixed feelings all the time. As long as you are looking after yourself (sexually etc, because you are too young to be even going down that road). There's no harm in experimenting with new friendships with lads, you have the rest of your life to find that special someone. Have fun and don't take things too seriously. hope this helps.

A question is why did he dump you in the first place,sometimes it takes a break up to realise what you liked about the person in the first place. I think you should meet him and talk, at least you'll get to know a little bit more.
Its always tougher when you're the person who was broken up with.
