writes: My boyfriend of 3 years cannot see that he is destroying me. He shows me no affection, cannot express his feelings about me, can sit and watch me cry with no emotion, avoids spending time with me, constantly sleeps, and cannot give me a straight answer or look me in the eye about anything? Yet fails to see that he is treating me like a lapdog, and hurting me, although he says her loves me?I know that i havent done anything to deserve this, no one could love anyone more. I have threatened to leave him although this is not whatI truly want. I felt it was the only way to get through to him, he then blamed me for messing with his head.I'm now trying to not text/ring him and treat him the same way hes treating me. All of his behaviour is VERY out of his character, he is like a different person!I have since become very depressed, and need help and advice on what could be going on in his head. This is my only option, can someone please help?

reader, anonymous, writes (5 June 2005): well my advice would be ok you have to look at what you have now is this the way you see your self being treated for the rest of your life .some people change but most do not and you have shown him that you will put up with his treat he is dishing out to you so ok it will now only get worse ,he will say he loves you and if you leave he will change for a short while ,but after a while he will go back to the old ways and your be back to square one and more of your life wasted .get out no matter how hard it is and start again
