writes:So, I've been talking to this guy a lot, and I believe I like him... but here's the problem..so, I hung out with him all day today.. and he told me he was going to ask me out but, I'm best friends with his ex... so he wasn't sure how that would be for me... and now, he has a new girlfriend... I don't know what to do.. I like him I really do. It all seemed to hit me at once... I'm bummed and sort of don't know what to do...help?

Its probably a good idea that you didnt go out with him. Yea your upset now and feel you may have missed out on this opportunity, But being best friends with his ex could cause so much upset towards her..The best mates code and all that, You dont go out with your best mates ex fella's unless of course they have absolutly no probs what so ever with that..You realise you like him alot now he has someone else..If he was really that interested and you to had talked then he may have waited a little longer before going out with someone else so quickly..So Id say it would have been uncomfortable for him and hurtfull for your bestfriend...Im sorry your hurting sweetheart, I hope you feel better soon.
