writes: Sorry for length in advance....There is this guy who i have liked for about 3 years and he is a year older than me ( im 14 he is 15) and he is really confusing me...On this trip last year (which was a week long) he couldn't stop staring at me and 3 of my friends kept telling me that he was and i noticed he was aswell...Before the trip he was staring at me aswell.A few weeks after the trip he found out that i liked him and he stopped talking to me. For about last September to June everything was drama...Since the first day back at school in August he has been staring at me non stop and in September one of our friends got us talking again and we regained a friendship... Or so i thought.One of my other friends asked him out with me and he said " Whats the point if there's only one way?"Meaning whats the point in us going out if i like him and he doesn't like me back.... So she asked him if me and him could still be friends and he said"yeah sure but to be honest we weren't friends to begin with"....I thought about what he said and i felt really bad about the whole friends thing although i understand rejection but then i noticed that he started staring at me again.... He stares at me non stop but he says doesn't like me. I'm too scared to ask him about it. i am so confusedhelp !!!!ps.. Merry Christmas

reader, anonymous, writes (24 December 2008): Did your friend tell him that you wanted to go out with him or she merely suggesting to him to ask you out? If the latter is true, he could have meant that "only he likes you and you dont seem to reciprocate the feelings." If he surely is not liking you, it is rude of him to stare like that. You gotta tell him you dont appreciate being stared at like that.
