A female reader, smeedle United Kingdom +, writes (25 January 2007):

smeedle agony auntIf it were me I would just text as normal and let him reply when he can, if he is stressed with exams then you do not want to add to the stress, exams will only go on for a few weeks so if it is that he is working up to ending the relationship then you should know soon enough.

For now just support him and let him know you are there for him and happy to have the odd text back when he has the time.
