 Er... not to put a damper on things, but if you ask a guy if he likes you and he says 'no'... you should probably stop trying. Not only that, but trying to force it out of him isn't a nice way to start something off. Why don't you tell him you like him first? And instead of forcing him to admit his 'feelings' for you, approach in a lighter way that doesnt feel like an attack, and ask him to the movies or something? People can be shy and not immediately ready to jump into admissions and confessions. give him a break.

He's terrified. He can't approach you, you're surrounded by friends!! So the best thing to do is to get him alone and tell him you would like to go out with him or get to know him more. He's completely terrified of it all.
