Talking from experience,
If you turn up with like 4 of your friends and hes just by himself,
He wont like it,because it seems like hes getting ganged up on
If you go alone he will talk more to you,

 I think you should go walking together and that's you can get nervous about geting into a guy's car moreover if u don't know him very much and if your young or the goy is older u know.. but the normal thing is that everything goes ok, make sure u go to a public places at a not ver late hour so that if the thing gets dangerus u can have other people's help, but in general terms have fun and enjoy the film

I know how awkward it can be on your very first date! If you really want to go but are too shy then why dont you suggest that one of his friends and one of your friends go along too? If that's not an option then pluck up the courage and go and have a good time. You wont have to do much talking after all because its a film. I imagine that he's feeling exactly the same as you and will be just as shy. Go ahead and enjoy yourself and dont worry about being shy. Boys quite like that in a girl.
