 I don't think that you should consider going to the movies or the prom with this guy while he has got a girlfriend. I also think it is wrong of him to want to go with you given his present situation.
If you were his girlfriend would you like him to go to the prom with another girl behind your back.
I don't think you should consider this guy until he does the decent thing, which is to finish it with his girlfriend before he goes out with you.
But i would still be concerned that he's even contemplated two timing his current girlfriend, and would he do this to you??.
