A female Hong Kong age 36-40, anonymous writes:

my boyfriend and i are in a long distance relationship. we've been apart for almost two years and plan to see each other and live together soon this year.he studies and works abroad. he has a very close female friend who is his co-worker too. the girl has a boyfriend but she and my boyfriend are very touchy and they hang out all the time. they sometimes leave each other messages like i love you or i miss your face and pen*s. this always causes huge fights. i told my boyfriend that i don't like it, but he thought i was just overreacting. it just happened again lately. i have completely no ideas of how to deal with this. my boyfriend and i have been through so many difficulties and we can finally see each other soon, but i don't want to put up with this? is it worth to give it up?

So_Very_Confused agony auntYa know there are friends and there are friends.

"I miss your face and your penis" is not friends... that's way MORE than friends. AND if a woman did that to my husband he would be my EX husband. THAT is NOT appropriate conversation for any man in a committed relationship unless he's having it with his committed partner.

Being LDR does NOT give partners the right to lie or cheat. You are NOT over-reacting to those messages. How do you know about these messages? IF he told you, he's basically telling you that there is more than friendship going on with this woman and if he tells you it means nothing, then clearly you mean even less to him.

I would not move to be with this man as clearly he is either NOT committed to you or he has no clue what being committed means.

now i turned out to be the crazy woman. the girl wrote to me and told me to calm down. she accused me that i don't understand friends are important for anyone that lives abroad and i'm destroying it for my boyfriend. she said she even tried to explain my feelings and actions to my boyfriend when we fought and she doesn't deserve how i'm treating her. my boyfriend is pissed at me now. should i say sorry that i was overreacting?

ummm are you EFFING KIDDING ME? first of all, let's pretend nothing is happening between ms. touchy and your bf. the fact that it's caused huge fights and you aren't comfortable with it, should be enough motivation for him to STOP the behavior. now, back to reality, obviously this guy is playing you. i have close guy friends too, but things like i love you, i miss your face and penis are NOT things you say to close guy friends. unless they're gay and it's an inside joke that your partner is in on. why the hell is this bitch talking about your bf's penis when she supposedly has one of her own??? and back to your bf, he is scum. he totally discounted your discomfort and said you were over-reacting? why are you still with this douchebag again? IT IS NOT WORTH stay with him. not at all. if this is what he does in front of you, don't you wonder what he does when he's away from you?? leave him ASAP. you deserve more than a guy who won't try and understand where your coming from and totally dismiss your thoughts.

YouWish agony auntIf my boyfriend so much as dared to suggest that I was overreacting to a message that a girl left him that said "I miss your face and penis", I would break up with him. I would kick him to the curb.

I'm wondering if this touchy "friend's" boyfriend would also "overreact to his girlfriend telling another man that she misses his penis.

Your boyfriend is cheating on you. Missing someone's penis isn't something anyone ever or is ever able to say in any platonic setting whatsoever. Drop this guy fast because he is playing you for a complete and utter fool.
