writes:Has my partner cheated?HI all, well my partner went to his mates last night, they all had a drink and he stayed over. He didnt come home till 5pm the next day and he has a love bite on his neck. He has never given me reason to think he has cheated in the past, but i feel confused. He said he was winding his mate up about his g/f being a slapper, so 2 of them pinned him down and gave him a love bite on his neck and said explain that one to ure misses! He has sworn on our daughters life (which i made him do) that he hasnt cheated on me. He has said we can go to his mates house and confront him, as he says he isnt lying. He said to me that if anyone, was to cheat would they really allow themselves to get a lovebite when they have to come home and face there partner?I know what lads can be like but just want an outsiders point of view. I dont think he has cheated as he has a very BIG conscienece.All replies would be greatly appreciated!Thanx

 His story does sound quite convincing, and is probably true, maybe we shall never know.
However what i do know is i go out some weekends with friends, and no matter how drunk or stupid we all get there is no way on earth i would give a guy mate a love bite, and vice versa. I mean it just is not the guy thing to do is it.

 The fact that you don't think that he cheated means a lot. I say that if he hasn't given you cause for concern before (funny text messages on the cellphone for example), I'm inclined to think his mates really did pull a nasty joke on him.
