writes:Ok so my boyfriend and I text each other like all day everyday, and its been going on for months. Suddenly one day in mid conversation he stopped texting me and even though i kept texting him he wouldnt reply, and then at like 9pm he sent me this long text in french about how much he loved me, and then today he texted me first and when i texted him he didnt reply. I kinda feel like my texts dont go through or something and im constantly checking my phone to see if he text me...i know we need a break from texting but wouldnt he have confronted me about taking a break? Im so confused

Texting isn't always the best way to maintain a relationship, it's much better to talk in person. Also, spending too much time together or texting all the time can ruin a relationship, maybe cut down on the texting and focus on the proper communication? I expect this is the message he is trying to give without hurting your feelings. Hope this helps.

reader, anonymous, writes (15 March 2012): well it seems like you need to take a break from texting if he does not text you usaly that means he is tired of texting i know this bc ia am a boy and when i had a girl friend she would text me non stop so final i stoped texting her back and some times iot means that he whants to break up with you

 sometimes in relationships after being together a while, things dye down and people don't feel the need to keep in contact so much as it was in the beginning, so I am guessing he is just probably slowing it down because you both should be spending time with friends and family as well and away from each other. It is a natural course a relationship takes, so try and not panic. Also if you keep texting him it will come across as needy therefore I think you need to find something else to do other than waiting around for him to text you as it is not healthy at all.
