Then, my ex dumped me over the phone, and wouldn't tell me why (and still won't), then, finally, a really hot girl was flirting with me for eight months, then betrayed me and blabbed all my secrets to her preppy, valley girl friends. Basically, I need general advice on how to dodge these types of obstacles, figuring out strategies for being able to tell if they like me, or if they just like to play games with me. A desperate cry for help, helpme246.

Let me let u no, since im a girl and stuff, girls change their mind and get over people fast. trust me, one months we'll tell our girlfriends that we like thi sone guy, the next...another guy. It's a girl thing, there's nothing rong with you. and about the girl not telling you WHY she broke up with you...she's probably embaressed about it..and may i add that *--*breakin up with people over the fone, txt, im, email...a friend, is really shallow!!! It just shows that your a coward!!! I you could get asked out and say yes to his face...you can break up with him in his face!!!*--* my point is now made...i hope.

reader, anonymous, writes (24 January 2009): Well my dear, girls can can be cruel and some just don't understand that boys have the same emotions and feelings. So lets see, i would say, when a girl is flirting with you that's one thing, but when a girl flirts with you and shows interest in you like she really puts forth an effort to see you or find you just to talk or if you catch them staring at you...and make sure shes not in a really slutty click, and shes not a follower.... Don't get wrapped up in the simple flirtatious conversations from girls, be careful. =)
