Embarrassing pubic hair. Is this normal for guys?

I'm 19 and I have a bit of an embarrassing problem. Well actually, I don't even know if it's really a problem, or something a lot of people go through, because it isn't something people discuss. Whatever it is, it's starting to cause me discomfort.

Since puberty, hair has grown in-between my buttocks. Now for starters, do most men get this? Just recently it has started itching, and unless I'm mistaken, it feels like its growing.

I don't particularly want to see a doctor about this, hence why I've posted a question here. If it comes to it, I guess I'll have to, but for the mean time anything you can tell me about it (perhaps even a method to get rid of it) would be good.

sofiamorgan agony auntIt's perfectly normal and nothing to be worried about! You may well want to get waxed there, but then again its your choice!

Ask oldersister agony auntI actually have a guy friend that gets Brazilian bikini waxes for this every couple of months. He says it's worth it because it makes him so uncomfortable to have hair there. He always says "I'm going to go get down on all fours" so I guess that's the position you have to get in for them to do it. Before, he would spend about 30 min in the shower trying to shave it all off, which it took so long because of how tricky it must be to shave there, so clearly waxing would be your best option.

If you're that concerned and conscious of it, then have it waxed, but I worn you, it'll hurt like nothing on earth, 'speshly there.

shelleyanne agony auntIt's not a problem, I know plenty of guys who have that. If it's bothering you, try shaving or waxing. Of course, it may start to itch when it grows back in, so you're probably better off leaving it alone.

Dude I;ve seen women with ass hair. Don't worry about it and don't go asking a doctor if it's a health problem or they'll laugh at you.

Yes perfectly normal for hair to be growing there. Some guys will have hair there, some won't. Some might have a bit other a lot. Body hair differs quite a lot between one man to another. Nothing wrong whatsoever so no need to see a doctor abou it.
