A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

This started about a month ago. (It's a long story)

I just see him in my art lecture

I started my second year at college. There is a new lad that I like. Every girl in the college like him. They are all clingy to him and always around him. I am not like that.

I gave him a hug saying that I had a headache from a migraine. I asked him if he wanted to come with me to the club the next week. He said "Let's make it a date". I wasn't sure if it was a matter of speech of date.

He didn’t turn up, he said that he was babysitting. He said that he couldn’t have told me cause he didn’t have my number. So I gave it him. He doesn’t have any credit anyway, so why did he ask for my number?

He did come the next week. He said that "it wasn’t a date. If it was a date it would be somewhere better that this". Is that a hint?

This week I ask him what he was doing for Halloween. He said that he was going to that club that I asked him 2 go to, I said that I will go too.

He then said that he the was too old for Halloween. I said "Why don’t you go to the club with me". He said "yes" straight away!

What do you think that all this means? is it a date? Does he like me as a girlfriend?

It sounds like he's interested, but take it slowly. He didn't turn up, and all right, he didn't have your number, but if he hasn't got any credit, then he might be playing it. However, that said, it's too early to tell what his motives are yet. He sounds interested in you as a girlfriend (potentially), so take yout time getting to know him, and make sure he doens't stand you up again.
