A female United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

How do you know he is cheating? My man has always been very sociable and naturally flirty. So i wonder if the fact I think he is cheating means he is, or is that my paranoia.

What are the signs?

A female reader, anonymous, writes (11 October 2007):

Hi check his mobile phone when hes asleep look in the sent messages as well, has he given you cause to distrust him before? Does he stay out overnight a lot at a "mates" house and say he was too drunk to get a taxi home.

Does he seem distant all the time, are you not communicating as well as you were. Is he not wanting to do the things he always does with you. Why not surprise him and turn up unanounced when he doesnt expect you to be there. At the end of the day go with you intuition I think women just know.

Mobile phone on silent, going to the toilet a lot to answer the phone, texts at strange times, mainly at night. Not as attentive as usual, breaking off a date at the last minute. Making excuses, being distant when you are together. Lack of initiation in sex, lack of enthusiasm in doing things together, but an interest in going out often without you. These are just a few things I encountered when my ex was cheating.
