writes: Hi everyone. There is this guy in a few of my classes that I like. Lets call him L. Ok, so L came here from Africa because his parents do missionary work there in Kenya. So anyways, I thought he would be more popular because he is cute, funny, ect. But he hangs around people that I can see myself being friends with. The thing is, im really shy and dont have any friends, but sometimes in spanish class we talk to each other. Hes really funny and nice, I like him. Sometimes I ask him questions but he doesnt answer because then somebody else says something at the same time. During class I see him looking at me sometimes. But today during science he whispered across the table "Whats your name?", so I held up my notebook to show him. The thing is, if we have talked before why doesnt he know my name? I have to admmit we never really told each other our name, I dont know why. But anyways when I asked him why he wanted to know my name he said he didnt know and because the girl next to him wanted to know.Then the girl waved at me, I dont know this girl. So did he just say that because he didnt want to ask himself, or was he tellingg the truth? I think he was telling the truth. Theres this other girl in one of my classes and im certain she likes him. He talks to her too. The thing is he talks to other girls too, hes nice. Does he like anyone? What can I do? What can I say. It would be nice to go out with but I would be just fine with being friends with him. P.S. He leaves to go back to Africa at the end of the year

 Damn, he leaves again? That sucks, he sounds like a really great guy. Well what i can tell you is that maybe he doesn't like "like" anyone at the moment. Possibly he's not looking for a relationship, but more of a friendship. And the reasons for that are obvious. But who knows keep talking and you'll see what happens
